FRAUNCES | TYPE SPECIMEN POSTERS
Fraunces is a display, "Old Style" soft-serif typeface inspired by the mannerisms of early 20th century typefaces such as Windsor, Souvenir, and the Cooper Series. It was designed by Phaedra Charles and Flavia Zimbardi, partners at Undercase Type in summer 2018. The authors suggest that these fonts are called wonky fonts and the origin of it fonts traces its roots back to the Arts and Crafts.
To encourage people to interact and stimulate curiosity about Fraunces' diverse letterforms, I created an experimental poster with a matching game.
